Job summary

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Life Engagement Assistant for its Tribute Memory Care Department. You will help plan, assist and coordinate social events and activities, and support the care team with resident engagement. A valid driver's license and ability to drive the bus for outings are required, with training provided.

Two positions are available with shifts including Thursday–Saturday and Sunday–Tuesday 9:00a–5:00p. Competitive pay ranges and full benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in a senior living environment and/or social activity leadership.
• Experience in memory care settings is preferred.
• CNA or HCA certification is desirable.
• Valid driver's license is required.
• Must read, write and speak English to communicate with residents and team.
• Must meet health-related licensure requirements.
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handler credentials are required.
• Proficiency with MS Word and Excel is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of scheduled resident activities.
• Plan, coordinate and participate in social events, outings and on-site activities.
• Model effective communication and behavior management; engage residents meaningfully.
• Ensure activities, outings, and events occur as scheduled.
• Assist in recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers for the activity program.
• Support safe, dignified care and activities for residents.
