Job summary

Quail Park of Lynnwood is seeking a Memory Care Activities Assistant to lead and participate in social and memory care activities for residents. The role includes planning events, guiding volunteers, and supporting the care team while driving for outings as needed.

Requirements include 1 year in senior living or memory care, CNA/HCA, a valid driver’s license, and CPR/First Aid with Food Handler’s credentials. This is a full-time position with a Wednesday-Sunday schedule and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year in a senior living setting or social activity leadership
• Experience in memory care setting preferred
• CNA/HCA certification
• Valid driver’s license
• Strong English reading/writing/speaking for resident communication
• Meet health/licensure requirements
• CPR/First Aid and Food Handler’s credentials current

Responsibilities

• Assist in implementation of scheduled resident activities
• Plan, coordinate and participate in social events, outings and on-site activities to meet resident needs
• Model effective communication and behavior management for the team and engage residents
• Ensure activities, outings and events occur on schedule
• Assist in recruiting, training and scheduling volunteers for the activity program
• Ensure safe and respectful delivery of care and activities with resident dignity in mind
