Job summary

Clearwater Living in Phoenix, AZ, is seeking a part-time Lifestyle Assistant to support the Memory Care team. The role focuses on planning activities, engaging residents, and ensuring safety and quality experiences in line with our Empowered Living philosophy.

Responsibilities include event planning, calendar creation, volunteer coordination, and coordinating transportation while maintaining a high standard of care and compliance with all regulations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• AA degree preferred or a minimum of two years of work experience in the industry.
• First Aid Certification preferred.
• Background and criminal record clearances as required by government regulations.
• Must meet health requirements, including TB.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute daily activities and special events, including set-up/tear-down and decorations.
• Survey residents and observe interests to determine activities.
• Encourage residents to attend and participate in activities.
• Adapt activities to individual needs with a creative approach.
• Show genuine curiosity for residents they serve.
• Create monthly calendar and assist with the activation of the monthly newsletter and weekly social posts.
• Assist with marketing events.
• Coordinate volunteers: scheduling, training and day-to-day tasks.
• Assist with scheduling transportation or driving community vehicles as needed.
• Ensure regulatory compliance and report issues promptly.
• Adhere to Clearwater Living standards and regulations for safe operations.
• Maintain a professional appearance and follow dress code.
• Represent Clearwater Living principles daily.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
