Job summary

The Activity Coordinator at Traditions Memory Care partners with the Memory Care Director to plan and run meaningful activities and excursions that enhance residents’ independence and quality of life. You will promote social events, coordinate clubs, games, classes, and outings, and ensure a safe, welcoming atmosphere.

Located in Colorado, this role supports residents’ well-being, requires strong communication, and involves driving community vehicles.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Prefer one year of experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Vaccination/testing and PPE may be required per regulatory guidelines.

• Assist Memory Care Director by organizing engaging activities and promoting resident participation.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, and staff.
• Maintain a safe, secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive community vehicles.
