Job summary

The Ivy Castle Rock is seeking an Activity Coordinator for its Traditions Memory Care program in Colorado. You will organize, schedule, promote and direct resident activities to enhance independence and quality of life.

Responsibilities include supporting the Memory Care Director, promoting engagement, ensuring safety, and driving community vehicles. Requires 18+, HS diploma, and MS Office skills; driving license preferred for transport.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one (1) year of experience coordinating or teaching activities with seniors.
• Requires current Class C, prefer Class B driver license to transport residents.
• Able to operate a personal computer and be proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint, etc.)
• Vaccination, daily screening, surveillance testing, and PPE per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist Memory Care Director in providing an engaging social atmosphere in Traditions Memory Care.
• Promote resident participation through regularly scheduled activities, excursions, events, guest speakers, and classes.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families, visitors, co-workers, and supervisors.
• Maintain a safe and secure environment following safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and support teamwork across departments.
