Qualifications

  • Experience in geriatric care is preferred for this role.
  • CNA certification is required within six months of employment.

Responsibilities

  • Provide compassionate care and support to residents daily.
  • Organize and motivate residents to participate in activities.
  • Collaborate with team members and assist in onboarding.

The Commons on Meridian Assisted Living is now hiring a full-time weekend Memory Care Activities Assistant!

  1. Providing care and compassion to residents, making a positive impact on their lives.
  2. Collaborating with team members and assisting in onboarding new staff.
  3. Encouraging residents to participate in daily activities to promote their physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual well-being.
  4. Motivating residents to engage in their health and wellness actively.
  5. Organizing activities tailored to residents' backgrounds, needs, and interests.
  6. Recruiting, training, and recognizing volunteers to enhance the activity program and maximize resident participation.
  7. Involving families, the community, and volunteers in activities to support residents' overall well-being.

Requirements:
  • Previous experience working with the geriatric population is preferred.
  • CNA certification is preferred. Willingness to obtain CNA certification within the first six months of employment.
