Base pay range: $15.00/hr - $17.00/hr

Job Description

We are seeking a compassionate and creative Activities Assistant to support our senior residents in Memory Care. You will plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities tailored to residents' needs, promoting their physical, mental, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

1. Support resident wellness by creating engaging activity programs for residents with varying needs, including memory loss.
2. Assist the Director of Life Enrichment in planning and coordinating activities, including seasonal events, following multiple program guidelines.
3. Lead daily activities to promote engagement and mental health.
4. Help prepare and distribute monthly event calendars for residents and staff.
5. Collaborate with leadership and staff to address resident needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate's degree preferred.
• Six months' experience working with seniors in activities or enrichment preferred.
• Memory Care experience is a plus.

Additional Details

Work Schedule: Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays, 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.
