Job summary

Westmont Living, Inc. in Morgan Hill is seeking a Memory Care Lifestyle Assistant/ Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging activities and daily life.

You will assist with activities, encourage participation, and help document programs to enhance residents' well-being. The role includes transporting residents to appointments and events, facilitating arts and crafts, and nurturing leisure activities.

Qualifications

• Criminal record clearance prior to starting.
• Must pass health screenings (TB, drug test).
• First aid certification within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Assist with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation in planned activities.
• Document and develop programs.
• Assist with the Community's arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents to medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events.
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.

What we need from you:

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents' fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs
• Assist with the Community's arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
