Job summary

Westmont of Morgan Hill is seeking a Memory Care Lifestyle Assistant/Activities Assistant to support residents with engaging activities and help create a warm, homelike environment.

Responsibilities include coordinating activities, guiding residents in social and leisure pursuits, transporting them safely, and documenting program progress. A caring, patient demeanor is essential for this role.

What we need from you:

• Assisting with activities as directed by Lifestyle Director.
• Encourage resident participation to develop and maintain residents’ fullest potential through planned activities.
• Assist with documenting and developing programs
• Assist with the Community’s arts and crafts activities.
• Transport residents safely to and from various locations such as: medical appointments, shopping, banks, activities and social events
• Cultivate leisure time activities such as games, puzzles, movies, etc.
• Must have criminal record clearance prior to initial presence in the community
• Must pass all health screen such as Physical, TB, Drug test
• Must have current basic first aid or obtain within first 30 days of hire.
