Job summary

The Salvation Army's Grand Rapids Kroc Center is seeking a part-time Membership Department Coordinator in Grand Rapids, MI. The role reports to the Membership Director and supports the membership program.

Responsibilities include processing membership paperwork, updating accounts, managing scholarship data, preparing reports, and coordinating weekend desk coverage, while maintaining cash controls and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in related field of administration, business, or equivalent.
• Minimum of two years of experience in billing, accounts payable or customer service.
• Cash handling and credit card sales experience.
• CCMS, CA, or similar membership data software experience is preferred.
• English reading/writing; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process membership paperwork: new, cancellations, changes, renewals.
• Update membership accounts and payment information.
• Maintain scholarship data and report usage statistics.
• Prepare agendas/minutes for Membership meetings.
• Provide weekend desk coverage and child-watch assistance as needed.
• Ensure cash control procedures and safety protocols.
