Job summary

The Salvation Army Grand Rapids Kroc Center is seeking a part-time Membership Department Coordinator in Grand Rapids, Michigan. The role provides administrative support for membership operations, handles renewals, and updates payment information.

weekend desk coverage and child-watch duties are part of the rotation. Responsibilities include processing applications, maintaining records, reporting statistics, and contacting members when payments decline.

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent with admin/business focus.
• Minimum two years in billing, accounts payable or customer service.
• Cash handling and credit card sales experience required.
• Experience with CCMS/CA or similar membership data software preferred.
• English reading/writing; Spanish helpful.

Responsibilities

• Process membership paperwork and renewals.
• Update accounts with payment and credit card details.
• Maintain membership files and ensure data security.
• Prepare reports on membership stats and scholarship use.
• Handle weekend desk coverage and cash handling as needed.
