Job summary

Villa Sport East Meridian is seeking a part-time Ambassador to sell memberships and greet guests. You will present the club’s features, benefits and programs, and build relationships with prospective members through in-club interactions and community events.

Hours are approximately 25–30 per week with weekday and weekend shifts; we offer a 401(k) plan with matching up to 4%, a complimentary club membership, and flexible scheduling.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; college experience a plus.
• Strong sales and customer service skills with rapport-building ability.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; polished phone skills.

Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

Ambassadors will sell memberships by professionally and enthusiastically presenting the club’s features, benefits, services, programs and fees to potential members in an honest, welcoming and service-oriented manner. They will focus on building relationships with prospective and new members through outreach activity to generate and nurture new membership leads. Ambassadors will participate in local and community events as representatives of the Company to raise public awareness of the club. Ambassadors will be highly visible and approachable in the club, proactively ready to greet, meet, or help a member at any time.

LOCATION:

Villa Sport East Meridian - 1450 E Fairview Ave Meridian, ID 83642

POSITION SCHEDULE:

Hours: Approximately 25–30 hours per week.

Weekday Shifts: Typically scheduled 12:00 PM/1:00 PM to 6:00 PM.

Weekend Availability: Must be available to work occasional Saturday or Sunday shifts, based on business needs, with flexibility on scheduling.

Weekend shifts may be opening or closing shifts within these hours:

Saturday Club Hours: 7:00 AM – 8:00 PM

Sunday Club Hours: 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS INCLUDE:

• Hourly rate of pay, based on relevant experience to the role.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Skilled at providing memorable tours in a warm, helpful, friendly, low-pressure way
• Sales skills with ability to connect and sell to potential members of all ages and backgrounds
• Basic skills in MS Word and Excel, and at ease in learning and using new software (e.g., POS system, intranet)
• Sales experience, including lead generation, lead nurturing and closing is a plus
• Successful experience in five-star hospitality or customer service positions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; great listening skills
• Comfortable communicating to prospective and new members
• Polished phone skills
• Checklists and to-do lists are kept up to date, with assignments completed on a timely basis
• Able to handle multiple and concurrent projects
• Workplace is well-organized and neat
• Able to work with minimal supervision; take initiative to get things done
• Must have a flexible schedule with ability to work evenings, weekends and occasional overtime hours.
