Job summary

ACAC - Atlantic Coast Athletic Clubs in Chicago is seeking a Membership Advisor to greet prospective members, present the value of club membership, and help people start a healthy lifestyle through friendly guidance and tours. You will generate new memberships, manage member satisfaction, and contribute to retention with proactive follow-up, pricing knowledge, and policy awareness.

The role requires strong communication and basic computer skills to support a welcoming club experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred
• Prior professional sales experience in commission-based role preferred
• Prior customer service experience highly desired
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient computer skills
• Must be at least 18 years old

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed monthly sales goals
• Meet or exceed weekly call goals
• Meet or exceed weekly outreach goals
• Infiltrate the surrounding market, generate leads, schedule appointments, and tour prospective members
• Use and operate membership management software
• Generate and execute ideas to promote membership and programs
• Follow up with prospective members within designated time frame
• Maintain knowledge of membership pricing and club policies
• Support membership problems following club policies
• Establish and maintain relationships with members and guests
