Job summary

ACAC Pennsylvania in Exton, PA is seeking a Membership Advisor to drive new memberships and uphold member satisfaction.

You will meet monthly sales goals, conduct calls, schedule tours, and promote programs while using our membership software. You will build relationships with members and guests, coordinate events, and proactively grow the member base in the local market. Strong communication, customer service experience, and 18+ status are required; college degree preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; college degree preferred.
• Prior professional sales experience in commission-based role preferred.
• Prior customer service experience highly desired.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Must be at least 18 years old.

Responsibilities

• Meet or exceed established monthly sales goals
• Meet or exceed weekly call goals
• Meet or exceed weekly self-generated outreach goals
• Infiltrate the surrounding market, produce leads, schedule appointments, and tour prospective members
• Use membership management software system
• Generate and execute creative ideas to promote membership and programs
• Follow up with prospective members within the designated time frame
• Maintain knowledge of club membership pricing and costs
• Maintain knowledge of club policies and procedures, particularly those related to membership sales
• Support and handle membership problems and changes; make decisions in consideration of the club's policies and procedures
• Establish and maintain relationships with members/guests to make all feel welcome
• Promote club events and activities; encourage participation
• Keep members informed of club events and activities

Physical demands

• Must be able to stand, move, walk, and bend for the duration of a shift
• Must have ability and willingness to work varied shifts including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays

Required competencies, education, and experience

• High school diploma or GED required, college degree preferred

• Club cleanliness is an all-team responsibility; assist whenever necessary in any area of the club to keep club neat and clean
• Attend mandatory Personal Training meetings

• Assist with club programs, special events, or activities, as assigned by Supervisor
• Promptly respond to work-related correspondence
