Job summary

The Water Environment Federation (WEF) is seeking a Manager, Organizational Membership Development to lead recruitment, onboarding, and renewal efforts in Alexandria, VA. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, communications, business or relevant field.
• 5+ years in a membership role in an association or membership-based organization.
• Experience with data management, member communications, and engagement programs.
• Knowledge of association management systems.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to analyze data.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Willingness to travel 15-20%.

Responsibilities

• Manage membership recruitment and renewal campaigns.
• Oversee renewal, recruitment, and onboarding campaigns.
• Collaborate with interdepartmental stakeholders to communicate value across channels.
• Support member benefits development and communicate value to members.
• Analyze membership data and survey results to guide planning.
• Ensure exceptional customer service, including oversight of external support.
• Maintain data integrity in Fonteva.
• Attend and support the annual conference and events as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned within the scope of the role.
