Job summary

YMCA is seeking a Member Experience Representative to enhance member engagement, growth and retention. You will greet members, conduct tours, schedule orientations with wellness staff and help new members connect with programs and volunteers.

The role requires 18+ years old, an Associate’s degree or equivalent, and strong computer skills. Evening/weekend availability, CPR/First Aid/AED certification or within 30 days, and bilingual ability are preferred.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree, two years related experience and/or training, or equivalent combination of education and experience preferred.
• Excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays as needed.
• CPR/First Aid/AED certification or obtain within 30 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist members, potential members and staff in a professional and friendly manner.
• Conduct tours for prospective members and explain benefits and opportunities.
• Address complaints in a courteous, timely manner and resolve issues with supervisor support.
• Prepare new member ID cards, guest passes and register members for services.
• Respond to phone inquiries and know emergency procedures for potential incidents.
• Support DAXKO reports and participate in annual giving campaigns.
