Job summary

The YMCA of Western North Carolina is seeking a Membership Representative Lead to deliver exceptional customer service, explain membership benefits, and guide new members through registrations and programs. You will engage with the community, conduct effective tours, and support training and scheduling across the center.

This full-time role requires strong communication, flexibility for evenings/weekends, and the ability to operate multiple software systems.

Qualifications

• 1+ year experience in customer service.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Able to work a flexible schedule including nights and weekends.
• Ability to answer phones and use multiple computer software systems.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes and greets all community members entering facilities.
• Provides engaging tours highlighting YMCA benefits.
• Processes membership and program registrations accurately.
• Helps train new Membership Representatives and implements SOPs.
• Supports outreach events, schedules, and member appreciation activities.
• Acts as Leader/Manager on Duty as needed.
