Job summary

The Lucas Museum of Narrative Art in Los Angeles is seeking a Membership Support Assistant to aid the Director of Membership and Development Operations. You will help manage the daily membership office and provide the highest level of customer service to our members.

This fixed-term 1-year position involves handling inquiries, updating Tessitura CRM, coordinating events, and supporting Visitor Services to ensure an outstanding guest experience.

Qualifications

• Public-facing customer service experience required
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal
• Ability to work evenings and weekends for events as needed
• Proficiency with donor databases; Tessitura preferred

Responsibilities

• Handle membership inquiries via phone, email, and in person with high service standards
• Update membership records in Tessitura CRM and maintain data accuracy
• Maintain and update membership FAQs for internal and external use
• Schedule team meetings, distribute agendas, and take notes
• Process invoices and purchase orders, and manage expenses
• Support membership events in coordination with teams
• Assist Visitor Services to ensure excellent onsite membership experience
• Contribute to brainstorming and implement new initiatives
• Support other department tasks as assigned
