Job summary

The Frick Collection in New York, NY is looking for a Part-Time Membership Assistant to support the Individual Giving and Gifts Processing teams. The Assistant answers members' questions by phone and email, delivering the highest level of customer service as an ambassador for The Frick Collection.

The Assistant is generally scheduled to work 21-28 hours per week, 10am-6pm, 3-4 days per week with an unpaid lunch break, and may be required to work weekends.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting individual giving, membership, events, or donor and member communications.
• Excellent written, verbal, interpersonal, and customer service skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Sell memberships and answer all questions from members about visiting logistics, when and how they will receive their digital membership cards, what benefits they receive, how to register for member and public programs, and more.
• Manage the database backend to ensure all annual and monthly recurring gifts are cleaned up and prepared for processing.
• Assist with check-in for events.
• Conduct outreach to members and donors for any processing questions, declined gifts, etc.
• Process returned mail and maintain the cleanliness of records in the database.
