Job summary

FAM is seeking a Membership Coordinator to grow membership and manage engagement strategies. You will lead new member acquisition, drive renewals, and oversee events and communication programs to strengthen donor relations.

The role requires project management skills, nonprofit experience, and a passion for FAM’s mission. Expect a professional environment with regular events and member outreach.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience required.
• Non-profit or museum experience preferred.
• Excellent phone communication daily.
• Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
• Strong MS Word, Excel, and Outlook skills.
• Familiarity with nonprofit databases (Blackbaud, Roller, HubSpot) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Serve as main contact for member inquiries.
• Recruit and orient new members; ensure renewals and upgrades.
• Promote auto-renew enrollment and track conversion rates.
• Project manage membership events, including galas and annual events (~4/year).
• Maintain CRM records and report on active members and renewal rates.
• Collaborate with staff to inform members of benefits.
• Design annual engagement plan with Advancement Director.
