Job summary

The New York City Bar Association seeks a Customer Relations Representative & Membership Coordinator to serve as the primary link between members, customers, and the full range of membership benefits, CLE programs, events, and services. You will respond to inquiries promptly and provide exceptional service to members, guests, and colleagues.

You will manage data entry in iMIS and Nimble, support events, upsell membership, process transactions, and maintain accurate content across the membership

Qualifications

• Associates Degree or higher.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in a customer service environment or membership organization.
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, problem solving, and organizational skills are needed.
• Excellent computer skills with knowledge of Microsoft Office; experience with Freestone and/or iMIS/Nimble a plus.
• Excellent verbal and written skills are required.
• Must be a reliable, high-performer in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to maintain a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service while upselling membership, products and services.
• Handle high volume of customer service calls and emails in a professional manner.
• Identify and access customer’s needs to achieve satisfaction and build relationships.
• Attract potential members by proactively suggesting information about our benefits, services and products.
• Resolve online program technical issues and provide troubleshooting tips.
