Job summary

Executive Director, Inc. supports the International Parkinson and Movement Disorder Society (MDS) by staffing a Membership Coordinator role. The position handles administrative membership processes, serves as the primary contact for members, processes payments, and supports new procedures.

Reports to the Senior Membership Manager and collaborates with MDS teams. The role is full‑time, based in downtown Milwaukee, with the expectation of at least two days in the office weekly.

Qualifications

• Proficient in Windows and Microsoft Office.
• Experience with iMIS is a plus.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Process membership and dues renewal applications; maintain membership records and database and create reports.
• Respond to telephone calls and e-mails regarding membership.
• Coordinate membership information process, including general member questions, application follow-up and daily correspondence.
• Work with MDS journal publisher customer service as needed.
• Coordinate and provide administrative support for the MDS Membership team, including assisting with membership recruitment and retention initiatives, committees, copying, faxing, maintaining databases, and maintaining computer and paper files.
• Assist with the coordination of internal work order processes and work with EDI support services as needed.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to MDS Programs.
• Handle basic research required for projects; work independently to complete projects as assigned.
• Other duties as assigned.
