Job summary

The Springfield Regional Chamber of Commerce in Springfield, Vermont is seeking a Part-Time Membership Director (30 hours per week) who thrives on building relationships and organizing community events. Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build positive relationships.
• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
• Proactive, self-motivated approach to work and ability to operate independently as well as part of a small team.
• Proficiency with common office applications, including Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
• Basic bookkeeping knowledge and comfort working with financial records.
• A valid driver's license and ability to travel locally for Chamber-related activities.
• Willingness and availability to work a flexible schedule, including occasional evenings and weekends.
• A professional, friendly, and service-oriented attitude.

Responsibilities

• Membership development and engagement: serve as primary contact for members and grow the regional business network.
• Recruit new members and maintain regular member communications.
• Coordinate renewals, invoicing, and reminders; maintain membership records.
• Plan and support events and programs with the Executive Director.
• Administer Leadership South East Vermont program.
• Perform office management and basic bookkeeping for SRCOC and LSEVT.
• Represent the Chamber at community functions and networking opportunities.
• Provide information about local businesses and resources.
