Job summary

The Belgium Area Chamber of Commerce is seeking an energetic Executive Director to lead the Chamber on a part-time basis, reporting to the Chamber Board of Directors. The role focuses on promoting local business, coordinating events and communications, and strengthening partnerships in the Belgium area.

The Executive Director will guide strategy, oversee operations, and ensure growth of membership through outreach, promotions and program development. Nights and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related field.
• 1–3 years of chamber or related experience.
• Strong communications and public relations skills.
• Graphic design skills.
• Networking and public speaking comfort.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and social media tools.

Responsibilities

• Manage strategic and operational performance for the Chamber.
• Develop promotional, educational, networking and grant opportunities for the Belgium area business community.
• Write and send regular communication to Chamber members and media.
• Represent the Chamber in local meetings and with partners.
• Promote members and events through social media, posts, shares and advertising.
• Coordinate activities through committees to meet goals and objectives.
• Maintain and update the Chamber website and graphics.
