Job summary

First Call Golf is seeking a Communications & Membership Assistant to help manage the club's communications workflow and member relations from Charlotte, NC. The role supports the Director of Communications & Membership and handles newsletters, the Carmel Daily, and social media channels.

You will work across departments to update member records, assist with print materials, and coordinate digital communications to engage members and stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree in English, Marketing, Communications, Liberal Arts or Graphic Design desirable.
• Website content management experience required.
• Social media content creation and management experience required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the production of the club's bi-monthly newsletter (Carmeline), daily email communications (Carmel Daily), website content management, content creation and management of social media platforms (LinkedIn, Instagram) and other internal and external communications.
• Support the Director of Communications & Membership from an administrative standpoint and answer basic questions about membership options available at the Club.
• Coordinate with all departments for the Carmel Daily and assist with the creation of print materials for all areas of the Club.
• Routinely update member databases with current contact information and maintain accuracy of club activity records.
• Assist with documentation of club activities such as Club functions, golf tournaments, and team member events; manage surveys and feedback processes.
• Maintain website accuracy and relevancy and oversee social media updates including Instagram and LinkedIn.
