Job summary

Technology Credit Union (Tech CU) is seeking a Contact Center Specialist to provide support to existing and potential members by phone and email. You will resolve inquiries, process service requests, and cross-sell relevant products in alignment with Tech CU policies.

The role emphasizes high-quality customer service, accurate information delivery, and adherence to regulatory requirements within an office environment in San Jose, CA. Overtime and rotating Saturday shifts may occur.

Qualifications

• High School diploma (or equivalent) required.
• 2 years combined banking and/or call center experience preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Meets product referral goals as outlined by management.
• Regular Call/Email average of 90% or better.

Responsibilities

• Handle telephone/email inquiries professionally while adhering to department guidelines and Tech CU policies.
• Explain features, benefits and processes of Tech CU products and services.
• Identify cross-sell opportunities and fulfill member needs.
• Ensure timely and accurate processing of transactions/requests.
• Maintain an available time of 92% for calls.
• Direct calls/requests to appropriate department when needed.
