Job summary

Statesboro Family YMCA in Statesboro, GA is seeking a Part Time Welcome Center Attendant. You will serve as the first point of contact, greeting guests, handling memberships, registrations, and program inquiries, while promoting YMCA programs and mission.

You will also help maintain safety and cleanliness, assist with tours and enrollments, and support fundraising and customer satisfaction efforts in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
Demonstrate exceptional customer service skills.
Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
Ability to foster positive staff, peer, and program participant relationships.
Must possess excellent phone skills using multiple phone lines.
Strong computer skills necessary; ability to operate multiple software.

Responsibilities

Greet each person entering the facility with a cheerful demeanor.
Open and/or secure the building at shift start/end times.
Register memberships and set up payment methods for drafts.
Provide information about YMCA programs and enrollment.
Assist with tours, registrations and facility reservations as needed.
Ensure safety and cleanliness, report issues, and promote YMCA brand.
