Job summary

YMCA of Coastal Georgia is hiring a Welcome Center Attendant to greet visitors, register memberships, and provide information about programs and events. You will help maintain a safe, clean, and friendly facility and support membership enrollment and program reservations.

The role requires outstanding customer service, strong communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Evening/weekend shifts may be required as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Must possess exceptional customer service skills.
• Ability to work positively in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must be able to operate multiple phone lines and know basic computer functions.

Responsibilities

• Greet each person entering the facility in a cheerful, helpful manner.
• Open and/or secure the building as assigned; perform opening/closing duties.
• Maintain cleanliness through daily cleaning checks and spot duties.
• Register new and returning members; set up payment methods for drafts.
• Provide tours to prospective members and answer program-related questions.
