Job summary

Federal Home Loan Bank of Dallas seeks a diligent professional to support Members by processing transactions, managing documentation and ensuring policy compliance. You will act as the main contact for Members via phone and email, assist with reporting, and help test various bank systems.

The role requires strong communication, a collaborative mindset, and willingness to travel for member locations and industry events. A background in finance or business is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's or graduate degree in finance, accounting or other business degree required.
• 1-3 years of work experience preferred.
• Excellent speaking, listening, telephone and written communication skills; professional and patient demeanor.
• Structured and organized team player with ability to multitask and cross-train co-workers.
• Willing to travel to member locations and industry functions.

Responsibilities

• Supports Members by executing transactions per procedures, policies, and regulations.
• Process transactions: initiating advances, auctions, wire transfers, letters of credit and related confirmations, safekeeping and term deposits.
• Review Member-initiated transactions for compliance with policies.
• Elevate issues for troubleshooting in a timely manner.
• Be the main point of contact with Members via phone and email.
• Assist in obtaining reports and resolving collateral shortages or overdrafts.
• Assist in testing systems and applications; create test scripts in dev/QA/production.
• Suggest procedural updates and participate in annual reviews.
• Identify potential fraud or exposure and recommend corrective action.
• Collaborate across departments and attend meetings as needed.
