Job summary

Self-Help is seeking a Member Service Representative/Teller to deliver exceptional service and support to members at our Tennessee branch. You’ll handle deposits, loans, account transfers, and everyday banking tasks while ensuring accuracy and compliance.

You should be hardworking, customer-focused, and able to communicate clearly in English; bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus. This full-time position requires flexible hours and a commitment to our mission of economic opportunity.

Qualifications

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Bilingual English/Spanish preferred.
• Minimum one year experience in financial institution or customer service.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to handle cash and use banking software.

Responsibilities

• Initiate and lead conversations to identify member needs.
• Maintain and enhance member accounts with quality service.
• Process deposits, loan payments, payrolls, and transfers.
• Disburse cash and withdrawals.
• Open new accounts and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Promote credit union products and services.
• Protect security and prevent fraudulent activity.
• Perform other duties as needed.
