Job summary

Sam's Club in Columbus, OH is seeking a front-end associate to support supervision of the club area and assist with member service. You will help assign duties, coach associates and resolve member questions using Walmart guidelines, while promoting memberships and services to customers.

You will handle transactions at registers or self-checkout, assist with purchases, and ensure club operations run smoothly with attention to cleanliness, safety and accuracy in daily accounting tasks.

Qualifications

• 6 months retail experience including operating front-end equipment (cash register) and 6 months customer service experience.
• Must be 18 years of age or older

Responsibilities

• Assist management with supervising associates and directing their duties.
• Provide member service by helping customers, processing memberships and transactions.
• Promote membership types, benefits and services to current and prospective members.
• Maintain merchandising, cleanliness and safety in the club area.
• Support cash handling and daily deposits following company procedures.
• Participate in recruiting, scheduling and coaching as needed.
• Ensure adherence to Open Door Policy and company ethics.
