Job summary

Total Community Credit Union is seeking a customer-focused member service representative in the Downriver area. You will handle calls, assist with accounts and online banking, process payments, and support ATM/VISA issues, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

This full-time role emphasizes friendly service and adherence to credit union procedures. The position requires at least two years in customer service, preferably in a financial setting, with strong communication and multitasking

Qualifications

• Two years of customer service experience required.
• Two years in a financial institution role preferred.
• Strong communication and relationship skills.

Responsibilities

• Answer calls and voicemails professionally.
• Assist members with accounts and online banking.
• Process payments and issue cards.
• Open/close accounts and take loan applications.
• Resolve account discrepancies.
• Provide friendly, confidential service.
• Educate members on CU products and promos.
• Follow credit union procedures and regulations.

What You’ll Do

• Answering incoming calls and responding to voicemails with professionalism and efficiency
• Assisting members with account inquiries, online banking support, and card services
• Processing payments, ordering debit/credit cards, and supporting ATM/VISA issues
• Opening and closing accounts and accepting loan applications
• Researching and resolving account discrepancies
• Providing friendly, accurate service while maintaining confidentiality
• Educating members on credit union products, services, and promotions
• Following credit union procedures and financial regulations

Your Job Classification & Schedule: Full-time, Monday–Friday

Pay Range: $19.63 – $20.86 per hour, based on experience

Requirements

What We’re Looking For
