Job summary

Mirastar FCU is seeking a Financial Services Representative to assist members with establishing new memberships, subsidiary accounts, and IRAs. The role includes setting up various Credit Union depository and retirement products and performing routine account maintenance.

You will assess member loan needs from start to finish, cross-sell products within guidelines, handle basic teller duties, and ensure compliance with BSA/AML policies. A strong focus on service and accuracy is essential.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years of related experience.
• Bilingual in English and Spanish preferred.
• Notary certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Open new memberships and subsidiary accounts.
• Assess member loan needs from start to finish and assist with applications.
• Cross-sell products within guidelines.
• Perform account maintenance: closures, transfers, and ownership changes.
• Process basic teller transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments).
• Answer questions and resolve problems on products and services.
• Participate in product and service promotions.
• Meet requirements to become a Notary Public.
• Ensure operations comply with Credit Union policies and regulations (BSA/AML).
• Attend Sponsor Employee Groups visits or host SEG locations.
• Back up other branch positions and locations as needed.
