Job summary

Beacon Credit Union is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Teller to provide excellent member service at our Indiana locations. You will handle deposits, withdrawals, and loan payments, while assisting with account maintenance and cross-selling Beacon products.

You may travel to Mitchell, Orleans, and Seymour locations to cover shifts as needed. Strong cash handling and a solid customer-service background are required, along with basic PC skills and a team-oriented mindset.

Qualifications

• Experience with cash handling and customer service preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Detail-oriented and accurate in data entry.
• Ability to work as part of a team and cross-sell Beacon products.
• Basic computer operation knowledge and software familiarity.
• Willingness to travel between locations for coverage.

Responsibilities

• Process deposits, withdrawals, coin, loan payments, and related transactions; balance cash drawer.
• Open/close/maintain accounts (checking, savings, CDs, IRA, HSA).
• Answer basic member questions; escalate when needed.
• Welcome and cross-sell Beacon products to members.
• Update member data in core system; perform file maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
