Job summary

Indiana Members Credit Union is seeking a Teller to serve as the primary contact for members, handling deposits, withdrawals, payments and other transactions with accuracy and security.

You will maintain cash handling integrity, adhere to regulatory standards, and identify member needs while promoting credit union products and services.

Excellent communication, attention to detail, and confidentiality are essential to build trust and deliver exceptional member experiences in a retail branch.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous cash handling and customer service experience preferred.
• Excellent communication and attention to detail are essential.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and use discretion.

Responsibilities

• Process member transactions including deposits, withdrawals, loans payments, money orders and checks.
• Open and close accounts and issue debit/ATM cards.
• Balance cash drawer daily and ensure accuracy of cash handling.
• Coordinate with back-office for member requests and issues.
• Process stop payments, issue statements, and handle check-related tasks.
• Support night/ATM deposits and general branch duties.
