Job summary

Navy Federal Credit Union in Meridian, MS is hiring a Member Service Representative (Full-Time) to assist members with checking and savings accounts, loans, and other financial products. You will perform routine platform banking tasks under supervision while building confidence for greater independence.

This on-site role emphasizes relationship-building, accurate processing of deposits and withdrawals, and adherence to applicable regulations.

Qualifications

Ability to build rapport with members and colleagues.
Strong research, analytical and problem-solving abilities.
Experience working both independently and in teams.
Maintain composure in a high-production environment.
Familiarity with multiple banking systems and evolving technology.

Responsibilities

Provide basic counseling on products and services to meet member needs.
Assist members with opening/maintaining deposit accounts, loans and other financial products.
Research and resolve basic account discrepancies and service requests.
Identify opportunities to cross-sell products and enhance member relationships.
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.
Support team members with knowledge sharing as experience grows.
Process routine transactions (deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, check cashing).
Perform other duties as assigned.
