Responsibilities

• Cross-sell Genisys Credit Union products and services to provide high-quality member service and help reach goals.
• Open and close membership accounts.
• Process loan applications through payout following lending procedures.
• Answer member questions in person, by phone, or via other channels.
• Maintain the Credit Union's quality reputation and service standards.
• Obtain appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurance.

We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Member Services Representative at our Shelby Township branch. This position has the opportunity to earn incentive pay.

Position Purpose:

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served by performing a broad variety of member services functions.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Cross selling credit union products and services to provide high quality member service and reach credit union goals and objectives
• Opening and closing membership accounts
• Performs loan transactions from processing applications all the way to payout, following Genisys lending procedures and guidelines
• Ensures that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved whether in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.
• Ensures that the Credit Union's quality reputation is maintained and projected.
• Obtains appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurances.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent required
• Customer service experience preferred
