Job summary

Genisys Credit Union is hiring a Full Time Member Services Representative in the Shelby Township branch to deliver excellent member service. The role includes cross-selling products, handling accounts, and processing loans, with opportunities for incentive pay.

The ideal candidate has a High School diploma, prior customer service experience, and knowledge of lending processes. A professional appearance and strong typing skills are valued assets.

Qualifications

• High School Graduate or equivalent required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Knowledge of lending processes helpful.
• State license to sell loan protection insurances may be obtained.

Responsibilities

• Cross-selling credit union products and services to provide high quality member service and achieve goals.
• Opening and closing membership accounts.
• Process loan transactions from application to payout following lending procedures.
• Promptly resolve member requests and questions in person, by phone, or via other channels.
• Maintain the credit union's reputational quality and projections.
• Obtain appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurances.

We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Member Services Representative at our Shelby Township branch. This position has the opportunity to earn incentive pay.

Position Purpose:

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served by performing a broad variety of member services functions.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Cross selling credit union products and services to provide high quality member service and reach credit union goals and objectives
• Opening and closing membership accounts
• Performs loan transactions from processing applications all the way to payout, following Genisys lending procedures and guidelines
• Ensures that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved whether in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.
• Ensures that the Credit Union's quality reputation is maintained and projected.
• Obtains appropriate state license to sell loan protection insurances.
