Job summary

Genisys Credit Union in Wixom is seeking a Full Time Member Service Representative to join our Wixom branch and deliver outstanding member service. This role may include teller duties and a variety of member services tasks.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent, customer service experience, and cash handling; lending knowledge is a plus. We offer incentives and a comprehensive benefits package, and a supportive, inclusive workplace.

Responsibilities

• Perform financial transactions such as cash withdrawals and deposits.

• Balance daily transactions and verify cash totals.
• Respond to member inquiries in person, by phone, or other methods.
• Maintain the Credit Union's quality reputation.

We are currently seeking motivated candidates for a Full Time Member Service Representative at our Wixom branch. This position is eligible to earn incentive pay.

Position Purpose:

Ensures that members are promptly and professionally served whether performing teller functions or performing a broad variety of member services functions.

Job Duties (include but not limited to):

• Performing financial transactions such as cash withdrawals, deposits, transfers, loan payments and more per credit union practices and policies.
• Cross selling credit union products and services to provide high quality member service and reach credit union goals and objectives
• Opening and closing membership accounts
• Performs loan transactions from processing applications all the way to payout, following Genisys lending procedures and guidelines
• Balances daily transactions and verifies cash totals. Investigates and resolves out-of-balance conditions.
• Ensures that members' requests and questions are promptly resolved whether in person, over the phone, or via other communication methods.
• Ensures that the Credit Union's quality reputation is maintained and projected.

Qualifications:

• High School Graduate or equivalent required
• Customer service experience preferred
• Knowledge of lending processes helpful
• Cash handling experience helpful
