Job summary

Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative to deliver a positive member experience at our Plainsboro club. You will greet guests, assist with member sign-up, tours, and front desk duties.

Applicants should be reliable,18+, possess a High School diploma or GED, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs while standing and talking for extended periods, all while maintaining a clean, welcoming club environment.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, delivering exceptional service.
• Handle front desk activities including answering phones and guest inquiries.
• Process member check-ins and new member sign-ups; conduct tours.
• Update member accounts and assist with questions or concerns as needed.
• Maintain club cleanliness and inviting atmosphere.

Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • New member sign-up.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk during shift.
• Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
