Planet Fitness is seeking a Member Services Representative to create a positive member experience by delivering superior customer service to members, prospective members and guests.

The role involves greeting guests, handling front desk duties, assisting with sign-ups and tours, updating member accounts, and ensuring a clean and welcoming club environment. Candidates should be reliable, with a friendly demeanor and strong communication skills.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
• Ability to stand and walk during shift.
• Ability to talk in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to encounter cleaning chemicals occasionally.

Responsibilities

Job Summary

The Member Services Representative will be responsible for creating a positive member experience by providing a superior level of customer service to Planet Fitness members, prospective members and guests.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Handle all front desk related activities including:
  • Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with a variety of questions.
  • Check members into the system.
  • New member sign-up.
  • Take prospective members on tours.
• Facilitate needed updates to member’s accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns in a timely and professional manner and elevate to Assistant Manager or Manager as needed.
• Assist in maintaining the neatness and cleanliness of the club.

Qualifications/Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• High School diploma/GED equivalent required.
• Authorized to work in the United States.
• Ability to occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to continuously stand and walk during shift.
• Ability to continuously talk in person or on the phone during shift.
• Ability to occasionally encounter cleaning chemicals during shift.
