Job summary

NGFCU in Gilbert, AZ is seeking a Member Service Representative I to promote credit union products and serve members in person or by phone. The role includes processing member inquiries, opening accounts, and supporting teller functions with accuracy and courtesy.

Under limited supervision you will cross-sell savings, loan products, IRAs, and other services while ensuring compliance with policies. Strong communication and MS Word skills are required; prior financial sales experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Two years experience within a financial institution with demonstrated success in a sales environment.
• Expert knowledge of Teller functions, MSR functions, new accounts, member service, and loan products.
• Ability to manage workflow with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Promote credit union products and services to members.
• Assist with member inquiries including savings and loan rates.
• Assist members with accounts, loans, IRAs and other products.
• Answer basic and non-routine member inquiries on policies and procedures.
• Process transactions and ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Provide phone support to members and support other departments as needed.
