Job summary

Everwise Credit Union in Huntington, IN seeks a member service professional to deliver high quality financial service, support a broad range of products, and grow wallet share by building trusted relationships with members.

You will perform cash handling, transactions, account maintenance, open new accounts, operate an ITM, back up MCC, and uphold confidentiality while pursuing referral and sales goals.

Qualifications

• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and empathy.
• In-depth knowledge of Everwise Credit Union products and needs-based selling.
• Cash handling proficiency.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, diverse environment.
• Basic computer skills.
• Ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide high level member service in line with service expectations.
• Perform cash handling, financial transactions, account maintenance, open new accounts, operate an ITM, and support MCC.
• Maintain confidentiality of member information.
• Meet or exceed referral and sales goals by promoting products or referring to partners.
• Assist with outbound calls and prospect follow-ups.
• May perform additional retail duties including drawer audits and vault duties.
• Comply with Check Cashing, Cash Control and Transaction Approval Limits policies.
• Volunteer for special projects as assigned.
• Solve problems through research and follow up to ensure member satisfaction.
• Assume additional duties as needed.
