Job summary

Prince George's Community Federal Credit Union is seeking an experienced Universal Service Representative to deliver financial products and services with exceptional service and attention to members.

The role originates and processes consumer loan applications, counsels members on loan products, and completes income/debtor verifications. The position may require teller duties and sales across credit union offerings, with assignments to Bowie, Beltsville or Largo locations.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years member/customer service experience in a financial institution.
• Spanish-speaking preferred.
• Must be 18 years old or older.
• Background and Credit Check Required.

Responsibilities

• Originate and process consumer loan applications by phone and in person for members.
• Counsel members on loan products and take member applications.
• Complete income, employment, assets, down payments, debts, and property value verifications.
• Approve loans within discretionary limits set by Chief Lending Officer/Chief Operations Officer.
• Perform teller or greeter duties including deposits, withdrawals, payments, and account transactions.
