Job summary

Guardian Credit Union is seeking a member-focused associate to process transactions in-branch, drive-thru, or by telephone. You will assist members with their financial needs, open new accounts, and support consumer loan processing, while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy.

The role involves coaching peers, cross-training for growth, and promoting a positive member experience through friendly, professional service and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• High School or better.
• Up to 6 months of similar or related experience including time spent in similar or preparatory positions.

Responsibilities

• Monitors the MSS team for quality assurance and provides coaching and development with consistent feedback to team members.
• Processes transactions, answers inquiries and resolves problems or discrepancies with member accounts and records accurately.
• Maintains knowledge of credit union processes and services to assist members and train others as needed.
• Identifies and recommends products and services to benefit members and educates them about options.
• Resolves inquiries and protects confidential information while ensuring compliant operations.
• Contributes to branch goals and seeks efficiency improvements and cross-training opportunities.
