Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required.
• CPR certification required.
• Ability to lift up to 100 lbs.
• Must be able to walk up and down stairs.

Responsibilities

• Provide friendly, professional membership service to members, clients, and volunteers.
• Be informed of all current and upcoming programs and special events to interpret membership information.
• Provide tours to potential new members explaining facilities and rates.
• Adhere to YMCA emergency procedures and inform staff as needed.
• Conduct hourly rounds throughout the building to assist members.
• Address member requests, comments and complaints promptly with supervisor guidance.
• Back-up membership desk tasks when needed.
• Maintain facility safety and cleanliness as part of daily routines.
• Assist with setting up classes and programs and help with equipment as required.
• Follow opening/closing procedures to ensure security and cleanliness.
• Demonstrate YMCA values of Caring, Respect, Honesty and Responsibility.
