Job summary

ABC Virginia Chapter is seeking a Member Services Director to grow and strengthen our membership by engaging current, prospective and inactive members. You will lead recruitment support and help members understand and maximize the value of their ABC-VA membership.

The Director will maintain regular contact with members through calls, meetings, office visits and ABC-VA events, and collaborate with the President and Membership Growth Committee to develop strategies that drive growth, engagement

Job description

The Member Services Director will lead efforts to grow and strengthen ABC-VA’s membership by building relationships with current, prospective and inactive members. A key focus of the role will be encouraging and supporting members in recruiting new members and helping new and existing members understand and maximize the value of their ABC-VA membership.

The Director will maintain regular personal contact with members through phone calls, meetings, office visits and ABC-VA events. This position will work closely with the President and Membership Growth Committee to develop and implement strategies that support membership growth, engagement and retention.

The ideal candidate is personable, proactive, organized and comfortable building relationships and having conversations with business leaders.
