Job summary

TEKsystems is seeking a Bank Teller in El Paso, TX for a contract role that can convert to full-time at the client's discretion. The position covers depository accounts, lending products, and card services, with supervision on moderately complex platform banking tasks.

You will assist members, process transactions, and support fellow team members while adhering to federal regulations and internal policies. Onsite, Monday–Friday 8:30am–5:30pm, Saturday 8:30am–2:30pm.

Qualifications

• Experience analyzing member accounts and resolving discrepancies.
• Ability to assist with loan applications (consumer/mortgage/equity).
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Knowledge of federal regulations related to financial products.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, research, and resolve problems and discrepancies related to member accounts/loans.
• Assist members with submitting consumer/mortgage/equity loan, overdraft protection and credit card applications.
• Counsel current and prospective members about company products and services.
• Ensure cash and other negotiable instruments are handled properly.
• Identify opportunities to cross service products and increase product penetration.
• Perform platform banking functions.
• Assist level I team members.
• Understand and comply with federal and other regulations relating to financial products and services.
• May assist with Branch Office vault opening, closing and balancing procedures.
• May serve as a Branch Office and/or ATM vault custodian.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
