Qualifications

• Must stay current in CPR/AED/O2 and First Aid; renew annually.
• Complete Redwoods trainings within 30 days of hire and renew annually.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Strong verbal interpersonal and communication skills in a service role.
• Ability to lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Provide member services such as membership sales, tours, and guest registration.
• Answer and direct phone calls; provide program information and registration.
• Input membership and program data into computer; process payments and receipts.
• Schedule appointments and issue membership cards; rent lockers and towels.
• Serve as liaison between members and program supervisors; handle inquiries.
• Monitor facility and carry out other duties; promote core YMCA values.

Position Description

• This position is responsible for serving members and guests, maintaining member service control, answering the telephone, answering member questions and performing various clerical duties.
• Must be available to work during the day, Monday-Friday.

Duties And Responsibilities

• Provide member services such as membership sales, tours, answer and direct phone calls, guest registration, provide program information and registration, input membership and program information into computer, accept payment/cash register/receipts, schedule appointments, make and scan membership cards, rent lockers, stock and distribute towels.
• Serve as liaison between members and program supervisors.
• Handle and solve member inquiries, concerns and complaints.
• Monitor facility as required.
• Carry out other duties as assigned.
• Accept and demonstrate the positive character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility.
• Attend Scheduled Staff Meeting.
• Stay off all personal electronic items; cell phones, i pads,
• Develop meaningful and sustainable relationships with members, donors and volunteers.

Requirements

Education and Experience
