Job summary

Taymax Group, LP, and its Planet Fitness affiliate in Fair Oaks, CA, seek a friendly Member Services Representative to create a welcoming experience. You will greet members, manage front desk duties, answer phones, check in members, tour prospects, and assist in enrolling new members and processing payments.

The role emphasizes great customer service, reliability, teamwork, and a positive attitude. You’ll support club operations, help with account updates, and collaborate with the club manager

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Customer service background preferred.
• Basic computer proficiency.
• Punctuality and reliability are a must.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• A positive, upbeat attitude and a passion for fitness and health!
• Exceptional customer service skills; able to interact in a positive and professional way with members and co-workers, exceeding the member’s expectations.
• Strong listener with the ability to empathize and problem solve.

Responsibilities

• Greet members, prospective members and guests, providing exceptional customer service.
• Answer phones in a friendly manner and assist callers with questions; check members into the system; take tours; sign up new members and process payments; assist the Club Manager with cash handling.
• Facilitate updates to member accounts.
• Respond to member questions and concerns; escalate as needed to management.
• Maintain club cleanliness; complete daily duties within the first hour and follow cleaning priorities.
• Additional duties as needed by club.
